Love, Ire & Song is more diverse than his debut album, with tracks ranging from the beautiful piano ballad ‘Jet Lag’, to the sing-along ‘Photosynthesis’ and the rocker ‘Imperfect Tense’. The opener, ‘I Knew Prufrock Before he Got Famous’ gets the album off to an upbeat start, and contains one of my favorite lyrics, one which sums up the album“ife is about love, last minutes and lost evenings, about fire in our bellies and about furtive little feelings”.
